About This Tool

Generate presentation-ready code snippet cards in PNG or SVG with custom window frames and gradients. Online code screenshot generators often require uploading code to third-party servers. If you are sharing snippets containing database schemas or configuration secrets, this tool guarantees your code never leaves your browser.

Exports high-density 2x PNG bitmaps suitable for documentation, presentation decks, and technical posts, with direct one-click clipboard copy.

Key Features

  • Seven background presets: Hyper, Sunset, Ocean, Emerald, Midnight, Monochrome, or Transparent gradients.
  • Three window frame styles: macOS colored traffic-light dots, Windows style, or a minimal frameless card.
  • Dark/Light theme toggle: Switches card text and background colors independently from the background gradient.
  • Configurable padding: 16, 32, 48, or 64px padding around the code snippet.
  • One-click clipboard copy: Writes a rasterized PNG straight to your system clipboard via ClipboardItem.
  • Retina PNG & SVG export: PNG downloads render at 2x scale through canvas; SVG downloads retain vector sharpness.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does it syntax-highlight my code?
No. The renderer draws code as flat monospace text in a single color per theme: it is built for clean window-frame presentation, not per-token language highlighting.
What background and window frame options are there?
Seven backgrounds (Hyper, Sunset, Ocean, Emerald, Midnight, Monochrome, Transparent) and three window frames (macOS colored dots, Windows, or a minimal frameless style), each combinable with Dark or Light theme.
Can I export as SVG instead of a PNG?
Yes. "Download SVG" saves the vector card as-is; "Download PNG" and "Copy Image" rasterize it to a 2x-scaled bitmap via canvas first.
Is there a limit on snippet length?
No hard limit: the card width auto-fits the longest line (up to 1000px) and the height grows with the number of lines, so long snippets simply produce a taller or wider image.
