About This Tool

This runs queries against a real SQLite engine (sql.js, SQLite compiled to WebAssembly) loaded into the page and kept in browser memory. It is for testing a schema, trying a join or window function, or checking a query output shape before dropping it into application code without needing a database server.

The database lives strictly in memory for the active tab: refreshing or switching schemas discards it.

Key Features

  • Three starter schemas: E-Commerce (users/products/orders), Web Analytics (pageviews), and Blank for custom DDL.
  • Standard SQL & Aggregates: Full support for JOIN, GROUP BY, HAVING, CTEs (WITH ... AS), and Window functions.
  • Live HTML results table: Renders the latest result set with NULL values visually highlighted.
  • Row count & execution timer: Live performance metrics shown alongside every query execution.
  • Export JSON & CSV: One-click copy provides clean RFC-4180 CSV or structured JSON arrays.
  • 100% In-Memory WASM: Runs completely offline in browser RAM with zero server communication.

Frequently Asked Questions

What SQLite version actually runs the query?
The version dropdown is a display label. The engine underneath is sql.js (SQLite compiled to WebAssembly), loaded on demand from jsDelivr.
Where does the database live?
Entirely in your browser memory. Nothing is written to disk or sent to a server: refreshing the page or switching schemas resets it.
What starter schemas are available?
E-Commerce (users, products, orders with sample rows), Web Analytics (pageviews), and a Blank database you seed yourself with custom CREATE/INSERT statements.
Can I export my results?
Yes: Export JSON or Export CSV copies the last query result set to your clipboard.
Does switching schema or clicking Reset Database wipe unsaved changes?
Yes, both rebuild the in-memory database from the selected schema DDL, discarding any tables or rows you added manually.
