Mock Data & Schema Faker
Generate realistic test datasets for API prototyping, unit tests, and database seeding. Export to JSON, CSV, or SQL. 100% in-browser.
Why Generate Test Data Locally in the Browser?
100% Offline & Private
All fake data generation runs inside your browser thread. No external faker APIs or tracking scripts.
Instant Multi-Format Export
Switch seamlessly between JSON arrays for React/Vue APIs, CSV for Excel/Sheets, and SQL INSERTs for database seeds.
High-Speed Prototyping
Generate up to 250 records in less than 5 milliseconds with instant single-click file download.
Key Features
- Multiple built-in presets: User Profiles, E-Commerce Products, Network Logs, and Auth Sessions, each with its own fixed field schema.
- Three export formats: JSON array, CSV, or SQL INSERT statements, switchable instantly without regenerating.
- Adjustable row count: generate anywhere from a handful of rows up to the field cap.
- Copy Dataset & Download File: one-click clipboard copy or save-to-disk in the active format extension (
.json/.csv/.sql). - Regenerate on demand: get a fresh random dataset any time without touching your preset or format choices.
FAQ
- What fields does each preset generate?
- User Profiles: UUID id, name, email, city, country, boolean active flag, and a registration date. E-Commerce Products: incrementing id, title, price, status, and an in-stock boolean. Network Logs: UUID id, IP address, timestamp, and status.
- Is the generated SQL safe to run as-is?
- Values are inlined as escaped string literals (single quotes doubled), not parameterized placeholders - this is meant for quick database seeding, so review it before running against production.
- What's the maximum row count?
- The Rows field is capped at 250 by default; typing a larger number still works since generation itself is clamped at 500 rows internally.
- Is the data reproducible between regenerations?
- No. Every click of Regenerate produces a fresh, unseeded random dataset - values aren't deterministic across runs.
- Does the CSV export handle commas and quotes correctly?
- Yes. Any field containing a comma, quote, or newline is automatically wrapped in double quotes with internal quotes escaped, per standard CSV rules.
